Matthew Little wood’s fingers had a strong voice of their own as they supported Andrea's singing and as they ran across the keys during his solos. Mishko M'Ba's performance was an example of what happens when one transcends technical proficiency to the point where the instrument becomes an extension of the body, and the performance becomes an expression of the soul.
The synergy between the three onstage made for an engaging experience, with some slow, easy songs and some upbeat, groovy tunes that had the audience clapping along. The 90-minute show was an evening well-spent, and here's hoping that Andrea Jeremiah will return to Pondicherry soon and often. (Review by David, photos by Coriolan Weihrauch)
